Who I Am & My Family
I’m a mom who has been shaped in every way by raising a child with autism. Our family is tight-knit, faith-driven, and full of humor, grit, and heart. We’ve walked through hard seasons together, and those experiences have given us perspective, compassion, and a deep desire to help other families feel supported and truly seen. We love deeply and fight for one another, no matter what.
Three Words That Describe Me
Creative. Determined. Purpose-driven.
Why Everbright Matters to Me
Everbright Academy became a goal for me out of a desire to create a place where all children feel seen, supported, and encouraged to shine exactly as they are. As a parent, I know how meaningful it is when a school truly partners with families—when learning feels joyful, safe, and tailored to the whole child.
To me, Everbright is about belonging. A school isn’t just a building; it’s a community. Everbright gives children a place to grow with confidence, explore their gifts, and be surrounded by adults who genuinely care. It helps lay the foundation for who they will become, and there is nothing more important than helping children feel valued and capable from the very beginning.
A Little Joy or Heart I Bring as a Founder
Our home is a mix of humor, chaos, and my husband’s random dad jokes. We’ve learned to celebrate small victories and laugh through the tough moments. That joy, finding light even on hard days, is a big part of who I am and something I believe every child deserves at Everbright.
