Who I Am & My Family

My husband Billy and I have a blended family of eight children and fifteen grandchildren. Our youngest son, Joshua, came to us at four months old and has changed our lives in the most meaningful ways. He has cerebral palsy, is nonverbal and non-mobile, yet remains a determined and joyful go-getter. Despite added health challenges, Joshua continues to show us what it means to overcome.

Three Words That Describe Me

Passionate. Selfless. Loyal.

Why Everbright Matters to Me

I was inspired to help start Everbright Academy because of the enormous unmet need in our Tulsa community. There is a large gap in which our most vulnerable children too often get lost. Families deserve better options, and children deserve spaces designed with intention, love, and an understanding of their unique needs.

Everbright represents a commitment to creating a safe and loving place where children of all abilities are supported, encouraged, and given the opportunity to thrive. It exists to protect that space where learning, growth, and care go hand in hand.

A Little Joy or Heart I Bring as a Founder

Outside of parenting and advocacy, I find peace in the country, with horses, and through creating. Our large, lively family and deep love for children of all abilities shape everything I bring to Everbright.
